Her teaching experience started in 2011 at a private ballet school and developed by teaching various levels, ages and styles at different schools throughout the country. During her years as dancer at De Dutch Junior Dance Division, Julia broadened her teaching experience by leading (dance) workshops about bullying and borders at primary and high schools. She also created pieces for amateur dancers for the purpose of community art projects and led dance workshops for children.
During various summers, Julia was teaching repertoire of Thom Stuart (artistic director of De Dutch Don't Dance Division) to children and teenagers in De Dutch Summer Dance Course, specifically working on details of contemporary and baroque style. More recently she was in charge of rehearsing and preparing the children that participated in the Christmas productions Nutcracker, Alice in Winter Wonderland and A Christmas Carol of De Dutch Don't Dance Division, which she will do again coming winter.
